In this world of uncertainty one thing can be certain, there you are. The challenges we face on our mat can be paralleled to those that we face in life. How do you want to show up? Learn how to breath and find calm in challenging shapes and poses. Cultivate awareness in moments of stillness. Look inside. The answers are there. You may need only relearn the language of your heart.
You will learn to breath and focus. We will typically begin a practice in stillness to remind you to breath and land mentally into your practice. Then simple movements to fire up your muscles and reacquaint your mind with your physical self. Then it’s time to get your flow on. This is where yoga becomes a beautiful dance between breath and movement. Poses will build on and complement each other.

How to describe Buti? Imagine for a moment that dance and yoga had a baby at a rave and the whole event was MC’d by an 80s yoga instructor. We will spiral and shimmy our way to greater physical freedom and maybe even share some laughs along the way.
Buti IS sweat with intention.
Barre is a ballet barre-based fitness class that uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet, yoga and Pilates to improve posture, muscle definition, weight loss, increase flexibility and reduce stress.
The ballet barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Light handheld weights and balls are also used to help “bring the burn” during all those reps. Expect to be on the floor (using mats) for targeted core work.
Vinyasa is my first great love in yoga. It is my place of personal practice. In this class I will offer you the tools to create your own daily practice. You will learn a carefully crafted sequence each week to put in your toolkit of movement to take home with you.
Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga.
